Star Wars Legion League Series — Recon & Escalation - Aug/Sept

Two-Phase League Series

A two-phase league series that starts with a short Recon League to get players comfortable with the game, then builds into a full Escalation League with progressively larger armies.

Phase 1 — Recon League ($10)

• 4 weeks, one game per week, played at a fixed 600 points
• Complete at least 3 of 4 rounds to qualify for prizes
• Standings posted weekly; win = 3 pts, draw = 1 pt, plus painted-army and sportsmanship bonus points
• Results seed (but don't carry into) the Escalation League

Phase 2 — Escalation League ($10)

• 6 weeks, one game per week, armies grow across three two-week tiers: 600 / 800 / 1,000 points
• Declare your faction before Week 1 — no faction changes mid-league
• Complete at least 4 of 6 rounds to qualify for prizes
• Same scoring system as Recon, plus a 1,000-point playoff for ties

Prizes

All prizes awarded as store gift certificates. Prize pool scales with turnout per phase — the more players, the bigger the payout for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and participation.

Extras for Everyone

• New Player Bonus: first-time Legion players get +1 league point/round for their first 2 rounds
• Best Army Award voted on by all participants each phase
