THE LIGHT OF FOOT

The Ashigaru ("light of foot" in Nihongo) were the backbone of 16th and early 17th century Japanese armies. Originally wandering warriors of low social standing, they were organized into disciplined fighting units that became the core of the Sengoku armies. Armed with spears, bows, and firearms, they fought in enormous battles that shaped feudal Japan.

This hard plastic box set is scaled for 10mm Grand Battle Scale gaming and includes enough parts to build large formations of Ashigaru. Models require assembly and painting. Bases are not included.
